Paul Holmes today raised the unwanted local Liberal Democrat housing plan that is proposing over 5,000 homes in Bishopstoke.

Paul asked:

Thank you Mr Speaker,

My Right Honourable Friend the Prime Minister has always been a vocal supporter of localism.

So what advice would he give to my constituents who are concerned about the local Lib Dem Council’s unwanted housing plan, which would lead to even more overdevelopment without securing the infrastructure that we desperately need in Eastleigh?

The Prime Minister outlined that we must build on brownfield sites first and that infrastructure must be provided. Paul will continue to call for the local plan to be rejected and for the council to work together to form a new suitable local plan. A promised at the election, Paul will continue to fight for the residents that elected him.
